At every step in the creative process - research, strategy, concept
and development - Skinnycat works closely with clients to ensure
that each project team member understands all business objectives.
Our 3-step approach includes:
1. Discovery and Research
Gaining a complete understanding of all needs and objectives is
the critical first step in every client relationship. We begin by
conducting a thorough assessment of the clients' history, corporate
vision, competitive landscape, brand identity, target audience and
creative goals. From this research, we develop a Scope of Work document.
2. Concept and Creation
Next, we develop a creative strategy that meets our clients' specific
business and marketing objectives. Using the strategy as our guide,
we begin to conceptualize new and exciting ideas. (We usually generate
enough creative energy in the process to light up the Vegas strip!)
We explore as many directions as possible - and then maybe some
more - before we narrow it down to a few for presentation. In this
phase, we develop a look and feel based on brand strategy, design
parameters, copy tone, imagery, color palette, fonts and format/paper
stock, or Web site architecture.
3. Production and Delivery
This is the final phase of execution and implementation. For print,
this includes any photography, illustrations or art buying along
with final production. For Web, this includes adding final content,
coding and testing. Clients are in the loop at every phase through
frequent communications. And we put every effort into making sure
all projects are completed on time and budget.
